이해 작가는 제7회 벗이미술제에서 최우수상을 수상한 후, 2024년부터 벗이미술관에 소속되어 활동하고 있다.
스스로를 ‘사랑을 그리는 작가’라고 칭하는 그는 친구와 가족 간의 따뜻한 사랑과 우정을 주제로 한 작품을 선보인다. 그의 작품은 주로 브레멘 음악대와 동물 가족을 소재로 하며, 각 캐릭터는 창의적으로 해석되어 개성 있고 유쾌하게 표현된다. 밝고 선명한 무지갯빛 색상을 사용해 생동감과 활기를 불어넣고, 특유의 관찰력과 유머 감각으로 시각적 즐거움을 선사한다. 작가의 예술적 접근은 단순히 시각적인 아름다움을 넘어서, 사람들 간의 소통과 사랑의 중요성을 일깨운다. 그는 현대 사회에서 종종 잊히기 쉬운 따뜻한 인간관계를 환기 시키며, 관람객들에게 사랑과 연결의 의미를 다시 생각하게 한다.
Sun Lee has been affiliated with Art Museum Versi since 2024, following her receipt of the Grand Prize at the 7th Versi Art Festival.
Calling herself “an artist who paints love,” Lee creates works centered on themes of warmth, love, and friendship shared among friends and family. Her art often features subjects such as the Town Musicians of Bremen and animal families, each character reinterpreted with a creative flair and rendered in a charming, whimsical style. By employing bright and vivid rainbow-like colors, she brings vitality and energy to her compositions. Her keen sense of observation and unique humor add an element of visual delight.
Lee’s artistic approach extends beyond visual aesthetics, emphasizing the value of communication and love among people.
